Adventures In Scotch: JW Green Label

Been on a bit of spree, decided to buy 2 bottles last time I was at Coscto (Crown Royal and JWG). They are no longer planning to carry Green Label anymore, so I drove a little out of the way to secure a bottle for the reasonable price of $40. Granted I have had minimal experience to this point, and I'm not sure I'll ever cough up $100+ for a bottle of really special stuff, but this might just be the holy grail as far as I'm concerned. Outstanding. peach, vanilla, spice, incredibly smooth. Simply fantastic. for the very reasonable price of $40, it's worth every penny.

excellent, straight out of the bottle (with a little water of course). almost sweet, but with enough spice and body to make for excellent mouth feel. nice, easy, classy.

Shark Boy

Jack's interest in swimming has yet to wane. He seems to be made for the water. His Mom and Dad are so proud.

NBA is always interesting....

Sports really boils down to entertainment. nothing more. so watching the entire Lebron "decision" fiasco has been actually very fun for me. It's going to be very interesting to see where this leads. Can't wait for next season....and isn't that the whole point of sports?
Having said all that, who can really blame these guys for doing what they did? 25 yrs old, rich, superstars....why NOT all go down to Miami to play for a legendary coach/GM (Pat Riley)? my guess is they will win 2-3 championships over the next several years, and this will be a very memorable run in NBA history. none of these guys will ever come close to Jordan, but in their own right they could leave a fascinating legacy.

There's just no one in the game who can get his shot off and make it with such accuracy from anywhere on the floor like Kobe. He's reached the pantheon of greatness if he takes home another championship this year.
